Meat and Potatoes Meatloaf 2 1/2 lb Lean beef, cut into chunks
2 md Potatoes, cooked and peeled
3 sl White bread, soaked in water and squeezed dry
1/2 Onion
1/2 Clove garlic, minced
2 T Flour
2 Eggs, lightly beaten
1/2 c Water
1/2 t Poultry seasoning
Salt, pepper
Combine the beef, potatoes, bread, onion and garlic. Put through a
grinder using fine grind. Toss lightly to mix. Do not knead. Add the
flour, eggs, water and seasonings. Mix well. Pack into a 9x5-inch
loaf pan. Cover loosely with wax paper. Place the loaf pan in a large
pan with 1/2-inch water in the bottom of the pan. Bake at 375 degrees
for 1 1/2 hours. Add more water to large pan if needed.
