Best-ever Meatloaf 1 cn Tomato soup
2 lb Ground beef
1 Envelope onion soup mix
1/2 c Bread crumbs
1 Egg -- beaten
1/4 c Water
In large bowl, mix thoroughly 1/2 cup tomato soup, beef, onion soup mix, bread crumbs and egg. In 2 qt oblong baking dish, firmly shape meat mixture into 8 x 4 " loaf. Bake at 350 for 1 1/4 hours or until meat loaf is no longer pink. Spoon off fat, reserving 1 to 2 tbsp drippings. In 1 qt saucepan over medium heat, combine remaining tomato soup, water and reserved drippings. Heat through, stirring occasionally. Serve with meat loaf.
