Just Meatloaf Recipes




 

Meatloaf

3 lbs. ground beef
1 lb. Gunoes sausage
4 eggs
1 c. milk
16-24 crackers for tops
3 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
1/2 lb. saltine crackers, crumbled fine
1 qt. boiling water

Mix together all ingredients in a very large bowl. (Eggs and milk should be blended before adding to other ingredients.) Shape into two large, three or four medium small loaves. Place in greased pan, top with cracker crumbs. Bake at 300 degrees for three hours. Can freeze well before or after baking. Pour boiling water into pan, covering loaves pretty well before baking.
